Low pressure Compound Molding is a technique that is used for higher amounts of products.
We close the mold using presses after inserting the resin.

  • We work with solid heated lower and upper mold often milled (but it can also be constructed in epoxy composite material).

  • After applying the gelcoat we insert the fibers, often we work with preformed fibers.

  • We can go up to 50% glass.

  • The high pressure diffuses the resin trough the fibers.

Advantages of this technique

  • High quantities;
  • Small lead-time;
  • Possibility for high volume ratio of fiber;
  • Clean technique;
  • Use of preforms;
  • Big parts are possible;
  • Lower labor expenses.
