Infusion technique by using a foil with vacuum. The evacuation of the air does compacting the fabrics/reinforcing materials, which leads to maximum mechanical properties of the produced part.
After we put the gelcoat we insert the fabrics and reinforcing materials without resin, this makes it possible to optimize the orientation and the overlap of the tissue.
Once this is finished, a plastic film foil (blue on the photos) covers the fabrics and we make vacuum.
We can go up to 50% glass.
Advantages of this technique
Mechanical properties: balance glass/resin;
Minimum of waste material (resin & fiber);
Clean environment (less over spray);
Less labor intensive;
Possible to make big parts, possible to add injection points.
