Infusion technique by using a foil with vacuum.
The evacuation of the air does compacting the fabrics/reinforcing materials, which leads to maximum mechanical properties of the produced part.

  • After we put the gelcoat we insert the fabrics and reinforcing materials without resin, this makes it possible to optimize the orientation and the overlap of the tissue.

  • Once this is finished, a plastic film foil (blue on the photos) covers the fabrics and we make vacuum.

  • We can go up to 50% glass.

Advantages of this technique

  • Mechanical properties: balance glass/resin;
  • Minimum of waste material (resin & fiber);
  • Clean environment (less over spray);
  • Less labor intensive;
  • Possible to make big parts, possible to add injection points.
